What: 15th Annual WWME Golf Outing (Scotch Doubles)

Where: Rackham Golf Club (10100 W. 10 Mile Rd, Huntington Woods)
(just west of the Zoo)

When: Saturday, August 7, 2010 2:00 p.m.

Cost: $50 per couple (9 holes with cart)

Invite a Friend: This year we are encouraging you to INVITE another couple. They don’t have to be encountered. There is always that a couple who you have thought… “Maybe they would enjoy golfing?” Now, you can feel free to invite them.

Don’t Golf? Join us for dinner (5:00 p.m.) at Memphis Smoke restaurant in Royal Oak

Don’t Golf Well? Not a problem (join the crowd)!

Scotch Doubles Format: Both spouses tee off, then hit each others drives, then choose a ball to play for the remainder of that hole, alternating shots.

Come and join us for a bilingual marriage encounter event! Spanish and English WWME are holding a joint enrichment night at Most Holy Redeemer 7pm on Friday, January 22nd 2010. Presentations will be done in English and Spanish. The US Leaders of WWME will be joining us as well. Bring food or a snack to share and lets have a wonderful evening together.

World Marriage Day this year is taking place at the San Marino Club in Troy on Sunday, February 14th. The theme this year is: "Men are from a Galaxy far, far away; Women are from Heaven knows-where!"

Registration for the Section VI convention at Notre Dame: There are
over 20 couples going from the Detroit area and couples from 15
states - don't be left out! This is a fun event

Renee and I went to St. Gabriel parish in Detroit to greet the world leaders of WWME. We had a wonderful time and got to eat a lot of good food at this potluck event. There were MANY couples at the event (must have been 30-40)

We were join by several other lucky encountered couples including Ron and Pat Anderson who will be writing up the event for the March newsletter with pictures. Please look for it!
